Hundred Acre Welcome – The Story of a Chincoteague Pony
Stephen Green Press, Vermont, 1967, 132pp, illus Robert MacLean
This is a true story about a Vermont family who visit Chincoteague Island. They bring home a wild pony, and help it adapt to its very new existence among mountains and meadows: a world away from the sand bar it’s used to.
