Do you have a copy of the original Heroines on Horseback you can sell me?
What I can do: The book is available as an eBook, and will at some point be available in paperback format again once I have finished the (unfortunately never-ending) struggle with the picture permissions.
What I can’t: The original Heroines on Horseback went out of print years ago, and I don’t have any lurking spare copies. And however desperate you are to read it, I am more desperate to hang on to my personal copy.

What I can do: I can give you ideas of where to find books. I have plenty of suggestions of how you can track books down, and you can read about that here.
What I can’t: I don’t have any secondhand books to sell, and I can’t look them out for you. The info website is just that: information.
I was in a magazine – can you help me find out which one and scan it for me?
What I can do: I have written something on where you can go to find magazines, or to read them.
What I can’t: I can’t look out articles for you – I just don’t have the time, whether you know the magazine you’re after or not.
I won’t pass requests on to other magazine collectors, and I won’t look things out even if you offer to pay.
