The Merrythoughts are a sad pair of children whose lives are hemmed in utterly by their family’s career as the perfect television family. After Mr Merrythought unexpectedly inherits a farm, the children have to learn how to cope with the country, which is much harder than they thought, and to learn that there are people who value them for themselves and not for their reflected fame.

Many thanks to Amanda Dolby for the picture.
