Uncle Arthur and Angela take Magic and Moonshine to the local children’s hospital, where they are a huge hit. As there is no money to organise riding lessons for the children, they fundraise to fund the lessons. Gina, the greengrocer’s daughter, is in a wheelchair and longs to ride the ponies, but her mother won’t let her as she thinks she will be hurt. Gina, however, is a very determined girl.
