Reviews

I just loved this latest Jill book. It was full of all the characters we all love and so fabulous to be back at Pool Cottage in Chatton. I can see myself looking out of that bedroom window, looking at the ponies in the orchard. Sheer bliss. Gina

This new series is exactly what I wanted out of a grown up Jill Crewe series. The voice of Jill is spot on, and it gives us a chance to see what everyone else in her life is getting on with, from her mother and Martin, to her best friend, Ann. It simultaneously deals with a more adult Jill and her problems, as well as offering that lovely comforting feeling of being lost in Chatton for a few hours. Luna

Jane Badger has captured Jill’s voice so beautifully. I can’t wait for the next adventure. Melody

Reading this book was like going back in time. I had meant to write a proper grown-up review but I changed my mind, as I realised how much fun it was to be reading the same Jill-ish voice that I so much enjoyed when I was small. SH
