This book also includes a bonus short story. The short stories involving the Showing characters were very hard to get, as they only ever appeared in Pony Magazine annuals.
This may be a cappuccino rather than espresso – but nothing wrong with that; I like both and am always glad to have a little fun and froth in my reading matter that doesn’t take itself too seriously and lifts the heart. I remember reading bits of this as a serial in Pony magazine many years ago, and enjoyed it then and was delighted to find that it is still just as good all these years on. (Nogginthenog)
I loved this book, and immediately bought books 2 and 3 in the series. It’s very funny indeed, and the main characters really jump out of the page. (David Lowry)
