Windsor, Margaret A

About the author

Margaret A Windsor has, as far as I know, written just the one horse book. The heroine has a hearing problem, but life is transformed once she has a hearing test. The title, Pretty Saro, is taken from a folk song collected in North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia in 1930 by Dorothy Scarborough.

Finding the book
Easy to find in the USA, and not at all expensive. It wasn’t published in the UK.
