About the author
American author Margaret Glover Otto wrote several children’s books involving animals, including the two horse stories The Little Brown Horse (1959) and Cocoa (1953). She also wrote, with Stuart Otto, The Horse and Pony Book, 1954.
Finding the books: both are reasonably easy to find; the British printing of The Little Brown Horse is quite hard to source, but not expensive when it does turn up.
