A Canadian, born in Toronto, Frances Lloyd-Owen wrote several children’s books published in the 1930s. She wrote one novel which included horses: Joe and Pinto.
Finding the book The book is easy to find, and usually reasonably priced. Copies with dustjackets are hard to find.
