Hamlin, John

About the author

John Hamlin (1880–51) is not an author about whom I’ve been able to trace any information. There are several John Hamlins out there, so it’s not even been possible to track down with any certainty anything else he wrote. The one book I do know about was reprinted in the UK.

Flying Horses – a Story of the Merry-go-Round

Joseph Lippincott, Philadelphia, 1842, 254 pp, illus Charles Hargens
Hutchinson, London, undated

A story about an injured pony and a merry-go-round – sadly I sold it before reading
it so have no more idea about it than that.
