Daly, Maureen

About the author

Maureen Daly (1921–2006) was born in Ireland, but moved to Wisconsin. She was one of four sisters, all known for their writing. One of them, I think, was Kathleen N Daly, also featured on this website. Maureen’s book Seventeenth Summer was a phenomenal success, and is considered by some as the first Young Adult novel. One of her books, The Ginger Horse, is a horse story.
