About the author

Irene Brady is an American author and illustrator, best known for her animal stories. She’s written on many different animals; her one horse story is Doodlebug, which changed title and front cover orientation when it appeared as a paperback. She also wrote America’s Horses and Ponies (1969) – non fiction, but it looks a lovely book.
