Marya Smith

Marya Smith grew up in New York State, and was educated at Cornell University, where she studied English Literature.  She lectured there, and now works as a freelance writer.   She has published two young adult novels, Winter-Broken and Across the Creek.  She rides, and the dustjacket of Winter-Broken describes her as riding her horse through the Illinois cornfields.
