Donna Baker is a pseudonym used by the author Lilian Harry.  Lilian Harry was born and brought up in Gosport, Hampshire, w here she grew up in a “decent working class environment” during the Second World War.  After leaving school, she worked in the Civil Service, before marrying a sailor and starting a family.  She writes historical and romantic novels, and under the name Donna Baker, romantic fiction.

Finding the book:  reasonably easy to find.
